Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking a Team Member to support the Bakery team by receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and helping with displays while upholding WFM standards.

Responsibilities include processing deliveries, assisting with sampling, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment. The role emphasizes friendly service, adherence to health regulations, and proactive teamwork on a fast-paced floor.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and keeps samples area full and clean.
• Participates in periodic inventory checks.
• Arrives on time, groomed, and ready to work; attends trainings and meetings.
• Provides excellent customer service and uses suggestive selling techniques; answers phones promptly.
• Maximizes sales through proper prep, storage, rotation, stocking, and merchandising.
• Follows procedures for weights, measures, health, sanitation, and safety.
• Keeps working and shopping areas clean and sanitary; maintains equipment per standards.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and verifies pricing signs.
• Reports safety hazards and violations immediately.
• Performs other duties as assigned by leadership.
