Job summary

Whole Foods Market is hiring for a Bakery/Stocking Team Member to support product receiving, display, and sales while upholding WFM standards. You will stock shelves, maintain displays, and assist with inventory and sampling programs.

No prior retail experience is required. Candidates should be able to lift 50 pounds, work a flexible schedule, and thrive in a fast-paced environment focused on quality and customer service.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer-service experience is not required but helpful.
• Ability to learn product details across department lines.
• Attention to product quality, freshness, and safety compliance.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by front-facing and stocking.
• Stocks, cleans shelves, bins, and displays.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to teams.
• Maintains back stock and assists with inventory checks.
• Supports sampling, keeps sample areas clean and appealing.
• Arrives on time and completes required trainings and shift duties.
• Delivers friendly customer service and uses suggestive selling.
• Preps, stores, rotates and merchandises products to maximize sales.
• Follows health and sanitation procedures and safety rules.
• Maintains a clean, sanitary work and shopping environment.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties and ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and assists with other duties as needed.
