Job summary

Whole Foods Market is seeking entry-level Team Members for its Bakery team in a fast-paced environment. You will receive and prepare products, maintain displays, stock shelves, and support customer service in line with WFM standards.

Responsibilities include keeping displays fresh, rotating stock, assisting with sampling, and supporting store programs while following health and safety regulations. Flexible schedules and opportunities for advancement are available.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.

• Excellent customer service and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh and appealing display by keeping cases and shelves clean and stocked.
• Stocks and cleans shelves, bins, and display areas.
• Monitors and prevents spoilage and communicates waste to buyers and shift supervisor.
• Maintains back stock in good order.
• Assists with sampling program and inventory checks.
• Arrives on time and participates in required trainings and meetings.
• Delivers courteous, friendly service and uses suggestive selling techniques.
• Prepares, stores, rotates, stocks, and merchandises products.
• Follows health, sanitation, and safety procedures.
• Maintains clean working and shopping environments; operates equipment safely.
• Performs opening, mid, and closing duties; ensures pricing accuracy.
• Reports safety hazards and incidents promptly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
