Job summary

Whole Foods Market seeks a friendly Bakery Team Member to assist with receiving and preparing products, stocking shelves, and upholding WFM standards. This role supports the bakery area, engages customers, and helps maintain displays and cleanliness with an emphasis on freshness and compliance with health regulations.

Responsibilities include daily display upkeep, inventory support, and assisting with sampling programs, while delivering excellent service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• No prior retail experience required.
• Ability to learn product knowledge and display standards.
• Ability to follow procedures and safety rules.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Ensures fresh, appealing displays by front-facing, stocking, and rotating products.
• Keeps shelves clean, stocked, and properly labeled.
• Monitors spoilage and communicates waste to teams and supervisors.
• Maintains back stock and supports sampling and inventory checks.
• Delivers courteous, efficient customer service and adheres to health/safety standards.
• Performs opening/closing duties and reports safety hazards as needed.
