Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Plano, TX seeks an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes in a warm, welcoming environment and provide an exceptional guest experience.

You will share in team leadership, help drive sales and profitability, and support day-to-day responsibilities while ensuring NbC standards and culture are reflected in every guest interaction.

Qualifications

• Guest-focused service experience; lead and coach team members to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
• Experience in retail/food service with lead responsibilities preferred.
• Experience training staff, delegating tasks and managing performance.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable with tech tools.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize the guest experience and foster a positive work environment.
• Partner with Bakery Manager to lead guest experience, cake production, presentation, and inventory control.
• Assist in recruiting, training, directing daily work, and providing feedback to staff.
• Ensure standards for product quality, service, environment, merchandising, safety, and NbC policies are followed.
• Assist in operational tasks including production planning, scheduling, supply orders, and payroll processing.
