Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Cedar Hill, TX is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to work with the Bakery Manager and team to deliver high-quality cakes, a welcoming environment, and great guest experiences.

You will help lead all aspects of the guest experience, cake production, visual merchandising, and P&L management, while recruiting and coaching team members and ensuring NbC standards and food safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; post-secondary education is a plus.
• 1-3 years of guest-facing experience in retail, restaurant or food service.
• Proven ability to coach and develop team members.
• Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and Outlook; comfortable learning new tech.

Responsibilities

• Prioritizes the guest experience, models superior guest engagement and fosters a positive work environment.
• Partners with the Bakery Manager in leading guest experience, cake production, brand display and inventory control.
• Supports recruiting, selecting and training team members and providing feedback.
• Maintains NbC standards for product, service, bakery environment and food safety.
• Assists with operations, scheduling, scheduling, payroll and basic expense control.
• Co-manages special-order fulfillment for individual and corporate orders.
• Co-facilitates opening/closing, cash handling and deposits.
