Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction. You will manage inventory, supervise displays, maintain safety standards, and ensure the quality of bakery products while training and developing the team.

This role requires at least two years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, a flexible schedule, and strong communication to collaborate with the team.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; able to interact with customers and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items and ensure high quality Bakery products.
• Ensure safety guidelines are followed and maintain sanitation standards.
• Unload deliveries and operate bakery and deli equipment as needed.
