Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Associate in Maryland to join a team dedicated to respect, appreciation, and community growth. You will greet customers, take orders, and help decorate and prepare cakes and bakery products following company recipes.

The role includes assisting the Bakery Manager, scheduling, inventory control, merchandising, and ensuring freshness, proper pricing, and smooth department operations in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or food service desirable.
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket.

Responsibilities

• Promotes customer relations and resolves issues promptly in a polite manner.
• Takes customer orders in person or by phone and creates finished decorated products.
• Decorates cakes and bakery items following recipes and designs.
• Assists Bakery Manager with day-to-day operations and scheduling.
• Maintains inventory, processes deliveries, and ensures product freshness and proper pricing.
