Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Department Manager to lead daily bakery operations, decorate cakes, and ensure premier customer service. You will assist with scheduling, training, and inventory control while upholding recipes and production logs.

Responsibilities include merchandising, pricing accuracy, and maintaining department cleanliness and freshness. Prior supervisory experience in a grocery or bakery setting is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 2 years’ management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
• Previous decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees bakery operations and merchandising to meet goals.
• Assists Bakery Manager with scheduling, training, rewards, and workload delegation.
• Monitors inventory, weekly sales, and logs to ensure accurate records.
