Job summary

Weis Markets in Dundalk, MD is seeking a Bakery Associate to keep the bakery stocked and attractive, greet customers, and assist with cake decoration and special orders. You will help with merchandising and ensure freshness and quality by following rotation and sanitation guidelines.

The role involves decorating cakes with various creams and fillings, assisting with deliveries as trained, and collaborating with the team to maintain a welcoming bakery experience. Training is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years’ decorating experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keeps bakery department well stocked and appealing to meet customer demand.
• Decorates cakes and other bakery products with variety of creams and fillings.
• Assists in filling and merchandising the bakery sales area, follows rotation and markdown policies.
• Maintains sanitation and adheres to health and OSHA requirements.
• Assists with receiving, unloading, and stocking deliveries as trained.
