Sprouts Farmers Market is hiring an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and support the Bakery Manager in daily operations. You will focus on product quality, inventory control, and superior customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires at least two years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, plus strong communication and teamwork. Night, weekend, and holiday availability is expected; a Food Handlers permit is required.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with the ability to engage customers.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays; monitor incoming cases for damage.
• Ensure excellent customer service and quality of bakery products.
• Operate deli equipment and comply with safety, health, and sanitation guidelines.
