Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to support daily operations in our bakery department. You will help manage merchandising, ordering, inventory, and staff while delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced store environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with at least two years of retail grocery experience and two years of supervisory experience.
• Must be dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders; maintain cleanliness and safety standards.
• Able to stand up to 3 hours at a time and lift up to 40 lbs; follow health and sanitation guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager with department management and merchandising for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and Bakery team supervision.
• Execute merchandise rotation and display building; monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and quality of Bakery products.
• Unload/store deliveries, operate and maintain deli equipment; ensure health and safety compliance.
