Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Must demonstrate knowledge of baking techniques.
• Must work well in a team and interact positively with customers.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English, with the ability to follow instructions.
• Authorized to work within the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Greet all customers and provide prompt and courteous service or assistance.
• Commit to the “Golden Rule” and work with other associates to build a strong bakery team.
• Achieve the highest associate morale by working in a respectful, supportive, and team-oriented manner.
• Assist in receiving and unloading merchandise, check deliveries, and verify items on invoices.
• Keep bakery ingredients rotated and use oldest products first (FIFO).
• Assist in ordering and maintaining inventory control.
• Handle damaged and spoiled products per policy and help control waste.
• Prepare baking mixtures and pan/bake products to customer specifications.
• Maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards.
