Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Associate to join our store team. You will follow recipes and production guidelines to prepare cakes, donuts, cookies, and other items while upholding food safety and sanitation standards and delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include operating baking equipment, assembling orders, labeling products, maintaining attractive displays, and assisting customers. Flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays are required.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Food handler certification required.
• Six months of bakery-related experience preferred.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follow recipes to prepare cakes, donuts, cookies, and other products.
• Measure, weigh, mix, shape and label ingredients as needed.
• Operate commercial baking equipment such as ovens and mixers.
• Maintain clean, sanitary, and safe working area per procedures.
• Assist in displaying products and helping customers locate items.
