Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a bakery associate to bake, package, label, and price bakery items. You will maintain stock, monitor dates and storage temperatures, and ensure product quality on the floor.

You will greet customers, assist with special orders, and support team goals while promoting sales. A Food Handler certificate is required and flexibility with shifts is expected.

Qualifications

• Food Handler certification required.
• Must be 18+ to operate or clean motorized equipment.
• Ability to read and operate digital equipment, meters, dials, and calibrated scales.

Responsibilities

• Bake, package, label, and price bakery products.
• Maintain stock levels and product quality by monitoring dates and temperature controls.
• Stock and rotate baked goods for freshness and safety.
• Greet customers and fulfill special order requests by phone and in person.
• Promote product sales through suggestive selling.
