Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Team Member to package, label, and price bakery products while maintaining stock levels and product quality. You will monitor dates, appearance, and storage temperatures to ensure freshness.

Responsibilities include stocking, rotating baked goods, packing and displaying items, and using upselling techniques to drive sales. You’ll work with a team to keep the bakery clean, safe, and inviting for customers.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18.
• Food Handler certification required.
• Typically involves on-the-job training.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to quality control and food safety standards by stocking and rotating baked goods.
• Assists bakery personnel with preparing, packaging, labeling, and maintaining product displays.
• Promotes product sales through suggestive selling initiatives.
• Stacks pallets and sorts product into correct locations according to Company efficiency standards.
• Maintains clean, safe and sanitary working and shopping environment by following safety procedures.
• Greet customers, answer questions and take orders by phone and in person.
