Job summary

Brookshire Grocery Company is seeking a Bakery Production Associate to follow recipes and production guidelines to prepare baked goods while upholding food safety and sanitation. You will assist customers, maintain product displays, and support packaging and labeling of items.

The role requires basic math, ability to operate bakery equipment, and flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays. A food handler certification is required, and prior experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 18 years.
• Food handler certification required.
• Six months of related experience or equivalent.
• Ability to work nights, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes to prepare cakes, donuts, cookies, and other products according to customer orders or as needed for display.
• Prepares ingredients by measuring, weighing, mixing, shaping, and scoring them.
• Operates commercial baking equipment such as ovens, mixers, dough proofers, etc.
• Completes production list and special order requests, plus packaging and labeling.
