Job summary

Aspire Bakeries Swedesboro, NJ seeks a Sanitation Operator to maintain a clean, safe facility across production and support areas. You will support food safety, compliance, and audit readiness while working a 1st shift from 6 AM to 2:30 PM, with weekend availability and an hourly rate of $20.00–$21.00.

Responsibilities include cleaning floors, drains, and equipment, managing waste, and ensuring sanitation tools are ready for use. Prior bakery experience and bilingual English/Spanish are pluses.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Capability to perform cleaning tasks including standing, bending, lifting.
• Willingness to work in hot/cold/humid environments.
• Flexibility to work weekends/holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Maintain facility cleanliness according to sanitation schedules.
• Manage waste disposal including trash and cardboard.
• Sanitize production equipment during downtime and maintenance.
• Operate sanitation equipment like floor scrubbers.
• Prepare facility for inspections and audits.
