Job summary

Aspire Bakeries LLC seeks an Operator 1, Bakery-Starter Room - 2nd Shift in Swedesboro, NJ. You will prepare, mix, and monitor white and organic starter processes to ensure product quality, food safety, and production efficiency.

You'll maintain fermentation standards, support production schedules, document processes, and operate starter room equipment in a fast-paced bakery environment. This role offers the 2nd shift from 2:00PM to 10:30PM with hourly pay of $20 and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of operator experience in manufacturing or food production.
• Ability to follow recipes, process instructions, and SOPs.
• Basic math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
• Ability to operate starter mixing equipment and process controls.
• Ability to document production data using SAP or similar systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and mix starter ingredients following recipes and schedules.
• Monitor fermentation, temperatures, and starter characteristics for quality.
• Operate and maintain starter room equipment and process controls.
• Perform CIP procedures to ensure sanitation and compliance.
• Complete production documentation and SAP data entry for traceability.
• Maintain inventory awareness of ingredients and starter materials.
• Support a safe, compliant work environment by following safety standards.
