CareerNerds, LLC is seeking Production Supervisors for its bakery operation in North Carolina. The role oversees ~15–25 production staff across first, second, and third shifts, leading daily activities and ensuring safety and quality.

You will coach and develop team members, monitor performance, and collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues while meeting production goals.

Qualifications

• Production supervisory experience in food manufacturing; bakery or frozen food experience is especially relevant.
• Demonstrated ability to lead employees, manage performance, and build accountability.
• Working knowledge of food safety, GMPs, and manufacturing operations.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills.
• Willingness to work the assigned shift and support production scheduling needs.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees while setting clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
• Monitor production performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Partner with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
