Job summary

CareerNerds, LLC is seeking a Production Supervisor for its bakery operations. This on-site, full-time role leads a team of 15–25 employees across first, second, and third shifts, ensuring safe, high-quality output while meeting production goals.

You will coach staff, enforce GMPs, and collaborate with maintenance and QA to resolve issues and optimize efficiency. A hands-on supervisor with strong communication is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience leading a food manufacturing team.
• Bakery or frozen-food experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to work assigned shift and support scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production activities, staffing, and shift assignments.
• Coach, train, and develop employees with clear expectations.
• Maintain food safety, quality, sanitation, and safety standards.
• Monitor performance, address downtime, and improve efficiency.
• Collaborate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve issues.
• Communicate priorities and ensure effective shift handoffs.
