Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is hiring an Operator 3, Bakery-Production-3rd Shift for our Cayce, South Carolina bakery. You will operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and quality bakery operations.

This role emphasizes food safety compliance and continuous production flow. Responsibilities include equipment setup, troubleshooting, record-keeping, and collaboration with the production team to hit performance goals while adhering to GMPs and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Strong communication, observation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and adapt to changing production needs.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team-oriented production environment.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds with or without accommodation and perform physical tasks including standing, walking, climbing, bending, twisting, pushing, and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated production and packaging equipment to achieve production and quality objectives.
• Adjust and troubleshoot equipment to maintain efficient operations and minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate production, quality, and operational records.
• Perform equipment setup, startup, shutdown, and changeovers to support production requirements.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, food safety standards, and established operating procedures.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas and equipment.
• Collaborate with production team members to achieve operational goals and drive efficiency.
