Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operator 2, Bakery - Production for our Cayce, SC bakery. You will operate and monitor production equipment to ensure safe, efficient manufacturing while meeting quality, food safety, and production standards.

Shift: 2nd Shift, Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM. You will maintain records, support start-ups and changeovers, and collaborate with teammates to hit operational goals and uphold GMP compliance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of manufacturing experience.
• Equipment operation knowledge with basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read, write, and perform basic calculations.
• Strong communication and observational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Operate and adjust production equipment to ensure product quality, food safety, and production specifications are met.
• Monitor production processes and identify equipment, quality, or safety concerns for timely resolution.
• Maintain accurate production records, reports, and required documentation.
• Support equipment start-ups, changeovers, and daily production activities to maximize operational efficiency.
• Maintain GMPs, food safety requirements, and established production procedures.
• Keep work areas, equipment, and production environments clean and safe.
• Collaborate with team members and support additional production needs to achieve goals.
