Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Houston, TX is seeking a Production Associate to join our bakery production team. This entry-level role focuses on safely and consistently producing high-quality baked goods for customers, using equipment and processes in a fast-paced environment.

You'll perform duties such as operating machinery, packaging, mixing ingredients, and moving materials, while adhering to safety, quality, and training requirements.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1-3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment and able to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-powered machinery safely and efficiently as part of the production team.
• Package products, mix ingredients, and move and/or stack materials used in production.
• Examine and reject products that do not meet specification and address issues to prevent waste.
• Participate and successfully complete all required training and audits.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and superior quality standards.
