Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in California is seeking a Production Associate to join our bakery production team. You will safely operate machinery, package products, and move materials to support high-quality baked goods for customers.

Requirements include 18+ years, 1–3 years in manufacturing, lifting up to 50 lb, standing for long periods, and English communication. Night, weekend and holiday shifts may apply; benefits include medical, dental, vision, and a retirement plan.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1-3 Years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform various duties including, but not limited to; safe operation of high-powered machinery, packaging products, mixing ingredients, and moving and/or stacking materials and equipment used in the production of fresh baked products.
• Examine and reject products that do not meet specification; observe, maintain, and address issues to prevent and reduce waste.
• Participate and successfully complete all Company approved and required training, audits, etc.
• Maintain Good Manufacturing Practices, food safety, and Superior quality standards.
