Job summary

Bimbo Bakeries USA in Carlisle, PA is seeking a Production Associate to join its bakery production team. This entry-level role focuses on safely producing high quality bread products for customers, operating equipment, packaging, and moving materials.

You will train on GMP and food safety, work nights, weekends and holidays, lift up to 50 pounds, and thrive in a warm environment. At least 18 years old with manufacturing experience preferred; English communication required.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age.
• 1-3 years of prior manufacturing experience; food manufacturing is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, stack, and/or carry pans, ingredient containers, etc.
• Ability to stand for extended periods.
• Comfortable in a warm working environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to work Nights, Weekends & Holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate high-powered machinery safely and consistently.
• Package products and move/stack materials and equipment.
• Mix ingredients as part of production.
• Examine and reject products not meeting specifications.
• Observe and address issues to prevent waste.
• Complete training, audits, and GMP/food safety standards.
