Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience in bakery, café, or commercial kitchen required.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and ingredient measurement.
• Active Food Handler’s Certificate or food safety certification preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Reliable with a strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a variety of goods according to recipes.
• Operate and maintain ovens, mixers, and proofers.
• Prepare ingredients for the daily café menu.
• Ensure items are prepared, plated, and presented to company standards.
• Monitor baking times and oven temperatures to meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with FOH and BOH to ensure smooth service operations.
• Complete opening and closing checklists and restock ingredients.
