Job summary

Aspire Bakeries is seeking an Operations Supervisor for the Swedesboro Bakery to oversee daily production, drive efficient manufacturing operations, and ensure product quality while promoting continuous improvement. This role requires onsite work four days per week and close collaboration with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams.

You will lead production scheduling, monitor line performance, and train team members on safety, quality standards, and procedures, aiming to improve throughput

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years in manufacturing or food production.
• Ability to read production schedules and safety rules.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Coordinate production schedules with Materials Management to meet inventory and customer demand.
• Monitor line performance, including downtime and waste, and implement improvements.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with maintenance, engineering, and quality teams to resolve operational issues.
• Ensure compliance with product specifications through inspection and process control.
• Train and develop team members on quality standards, equipment operation, and procedures.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency, performance, and cost effectiveness.
