Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking a Bakery Manager in South Jordan, UT to lead daily bakery operations, drive product quality, display, and stock control. You will manage scheduling, supervise staff, and ensure safety, sanitation, and budget adherence while delivering high-quality bakery products and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities include achieving sales and gross profit goals, coaching team members, recruiting and promoting staff, and maintaining company standards across ordering,

Qualifications

• Must have 18+ years of age and 2+ years in retail grocery
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; customer-focused
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to operate bakery equipment and lift up to 40 lbs

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily bakery output, production, and product display
• Supervise quality, inventory, and bakery budget
• Evaluate and improve department operations and procedures
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and compliance with food-handling standards
• Manage ordering, receiving, and storage; rotation and merchandising
• Lead scheduling, staffing, and productivity; monitor labor costs
• Recruit, hire, and promote staff in collaboration with Store Manager
• Coach team members through feedback and performance reviews
• Attend in-store meetings and communicate updates to the team
• Collaborate with HR on performance actions when needed
