Job summary

Albertsons is seeking a Bakery Operations Specialist to oversee labor, shrink, merchandising, and operational plans for the district covering our Montana market. You will lead teams, train staff, and ensure quality, freshness, and customer satisfaction in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires leadership experience at department manager or store director level, strong communication skills, and a commitment to store standards, safety, and loss prevention.

Qualifications

• Leadership and retail management experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and solve problems quickly.
• Experience at Department Manager, Assistant Store Director, or Store Director levels.

Responsibilities

• Teach and train teams to implement merchandising and sales plans.
• Assist retail teams with production, handling and packaging procedures.
• Organize stocking, display building, backroom standards, and sales floor standards.
• Implement in-store coding policies to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Champion training and compliance with auto replenishing tools for accurate ordering.
• Instill a high degree of customer awareness and service.
• Support cross-functional operations in presentation, cleanliness, labor, and safety to reduce shrink and increase sales.
• Plan transitions or resets to minimize lost sales and customer inconvenience.
