Albertsons Companies is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead bakery operations, ensure product quality, and develop a strong team. You will deliver excellent customer service, manage inventory, and uphold safety and sanitation standards while supporting overall store priorities.

The role requires hands-on leadership in a fast-paced bakery, with responsibilities ranging from product merchandising to staff training and scheduling. Competitive wages and benefits are provided.

Qualificações

• Experience leading bakery teams and daily operations.
• Strong customer-service orientation and communication skills.
• Knowledge of bakery product standards and food safety practices.
• Ability to train and develop staff.
• Ability to manage inventory, rotation, and merchandising.

Responsabilidades

• Assist the Bakery Manager with overall bakery department operations.
• Provide leadership, direction, and support to bakery associates.
• Train and coach staff on procedures, standards, and safety.
• Ensure products are prepared, labeled, displayed, and rotated properly.
• Monitor freshness, quality, display, and availability across the department.
• Maintain attractive, fully stocked displays and promotions.
• Assist with production planning and quantity management.
• Help manage inventory, ordering, receiving, and shrink.
• Ensure courteous customer service and handle special orders.
• Support cake orders and custom requests with accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain department cleanliness and sanitation; enforce safety.
• Assist with scheduling and daily task assignments.
• Monitor labor and productivity; ensure adequate coverage.
• Support department profitability and in-stock performance.
• Conduct department walks and address merchandising and cleanliness.
• Participate in opening/closing duties; act as Bakery Manager in absence.
• Collaborate with store leadership and other departments on priorities.
