Job summary

Insomnia Cookies is hiring a Bakery Operations Manager in St. Charles, MO. You will lead a team to deliver warm guest experiences, maintain cookie quality, and drive sales in a fast-paced bakery environment.

You will hire, coach, and develop staff, own inventory and scheduling, and partner with leadership to execute local marketing and guest-focused initiatives. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of management or leadership experience in a fast-paced restaurant/retail environment.
• Ability to work a schedule including 2–3 mid-to-late shifts Thu–Sun.
• Hands-on, player-coach leadership style for day-to-day management.
• Track record of hiring, coaching, developing, and retaining strong teams.
• Hospitality mindset and commitment to delivering an exceptional guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day bakery operation; ensure shifts are staffed and prepared.
• Maintain high standards for cookie quality, speed, and cleanliness.
• Own scheduling and labor, balancing team needs with business needs.
• Manage ordering, inventory accuracy, product rotation, and bakery controls.
• Lead local marketing drops and in-store recognition programs.
