Insomnia Cookies is seeking a Shift Leader for our Downtown St Louis location to lead bakery operations during busy shifts, ensuring top-notch guest experiences from start to finish. You will bake and package orders, coach the Cookie Crew, and manage tasks to keep the bakery running smoothly.

The role emphasizes a hands-on leadership style, with opportunities for growth in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and a supportive team culture. Evening and weekend availability is common.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a customer-service focused role.
• Point of Sale systems experience.
• Strong communication, time management, and people skills.
• Outgoing, friendly and patient demeanor.
• Detail-oriented with results focus.
• Ability to lead by example and motivate others.
• Must meet food-safety standards and be 18+.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations during your shift to deliver an exceptional guest experience from start to finish.
• Bake, package, and prepare orders while providing guest service.
• Coach and motivate Cookie Crew; provide direction and feedback.
• Prioritize and delegate tasks to maintain efficient operations.
• Help uphold product quality, safety, cleanliness, and speed of service.
• Handle cash management, register accountability, and deposits.
