Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead Bakery Clerks and support daily operations under the Bakery Manager. You will focus on customer service, product quality, and department merchandising in a fast-paced store environment.

The role requires 2+ years in retail grocery with supervisory experience, the ability to stand for long periods, and adherence to safety and sanitation guidelines. Competitive pay and benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Two years' retail grocery experience required.
• Two years of supervisory experience required.
• Must be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for maximum productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor in-coming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure the delivery of excellent customer service and monitor the quality of Bakery product.
• Unload and sort through store deliveries, operate, and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure the execution of all company health, safety, and sanitation guidelines/regulations, and validate that other Bakery team members are also aware of, and following, these procedures.
