Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Supervisor to lead daily bakery operations, ensure top customer service, and manage inventory in a fast-paced retail environment. The role includes assisting the Bakery Manager, coordinating merchandising and production, and upholding company recipes for consistent quality.

Requires high school diploma or GED, 2 years of management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket, and preferred decorating experience.

Qualifications

High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Associate or bachelor's degree in business related or food service-related field desirable.
Minimum (2) years' experience in management in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
Previous decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer focused behavior with associates.
Oversees department inventories by tracking weekly sales reports, product orders and supplies to ensure successful period-end physical inventory.
Assists Bakery Manager in day-to-day functions of Bakery operations such as merchandising, ad execution, associate engagement and customer service.
May help unload merchandise and transport to sales floor or storage area.
Ensures associates correctly follow company recipes for prepared products and maintains freshness.
