Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Department leader to supervise daily bakery operations, guide decorating and production, and ensure exceptional customer service. The role involves managing schedules, inventory, and quality control while upholding company recipes and logs.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
Associate or bachelor’s degree in business or food service preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
Previous decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer focused behavior with associates.
Smiles and greets customers, answers questions and helps resolve issues promptly.
Directs bakery operations including merchandising, orders, and schedules.
Oversees product quality, freshness, and correct pricing with signage.
Maintains and enforces production logs and uses LMS for new associates.
