Job summary

Weis Markets is seeking a Bakery Supervisor to lead daily bakery operations, decorating, and customer service excellence. You will assist the Bakery Manager, manage inventory and scheduling, and ensure product freshness and quality across the department.

Responsibilities include decorating cakes, processing orders, coordinating deliveries, and maintaining compliance with recipes and logs. Prior decorating experience and 2+ years in retail/food management are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; higher education desirable.
• Minimum 2 years’ management experience in retail/restaurant/supermarket environment.
• Decorating experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promotes excellent customer relations by instilling positive customer focused behavior with associates.
• Takes customer orders over the phone or in person and creates finished decorated products in a timely fashion.
• Decorates cakes and other bakery products using designs or custom requests; follows approved recipes.
• Assists Bakery Manager in day-to-day functions and in their absence.
• Oversees department inventories by tracking weekly sales, orders, and supplies; participates in scheduling.
• Checks deliveries and invoices to ensure accurate billing and proper stocking; ensures product freshness.
