Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager in Colorado to assist the Bakery Manager in supervising daily activities, managing inventory, and maintaining product quality. You will lead the Bakery team, build displays, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The role requires supervisory experience in a retail grocery setting, strong communication, and the ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable with flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing, friendly behavior and positive attitude with customers.
• Good communication skills and ability to take/deliver direction in a team.
• Able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and build displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure excellent customer service and quality of Bakery products.
• Unload deliveries and operate deli equipment safely.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
