Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, LLC is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the bakery department, drive quality and efficiency, and deliver an outstanding customer experience. You’ll supervise baking output, manage inventory and budgets, and coach team members in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable with the ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Have outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Communicate well and work as part of a team.
• Be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, and equipment as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output of baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage the bakery budget.
• Evaluate operations and implement improved practices and procedures.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage; rotate merchandise.
• Lead staffing, scheduling, coaching, and performance reviews.
