Job summary

Sprouts Farmers Market, Inc. is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the bakery department, drive daily production, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced store setting.

You will oversee staffing, scheduling, safety compliance, and the execution of merchandising plans to maximize sales and profitability while coaching staff and maintaining quality and freshness across all bakery offerings.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of 2 years' retail grocery experience.
• Be dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including night, weekends, and holidays.
• Have and show outgoing and friendly behavior with a positive attitude toward team members and customers.
• Have good communication skills and the ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Must be able to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping in the department and sanitation of the work area.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise and monitor product quality and inventory; manage budget.
• Evaluate department operations to identify improvements and implement new practices.
• Ensure safety, proper food handling, sanitation, and productivity standards.
• Oversee ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage of bakery goods.
• Rotate merchandise and build displays to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Lead and coach team members; complete bi-annual performance reviews; participate in in-store meetings.
