ShopRite of Wyckoff in Wyckoff, NJ is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct all Bakery Department functions and lead Associates to meet sales, profit, and customer experience goals. Under the General Store Manager's direction, you will ensure safety, quality, and presentation in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

You will train and onboard staff, promote best practices in food safety, and maintain accurate records, inventories, and displays to provide customers with exceptional service.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand or walk for entire shift.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried, and processed products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to climb a ladder safely.
• Ability to lead and engage Associates to meet department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department functions and associates.
• Maintain safety, food safety, and quality standards.
• Provide friendly customer service and product knowledge.
• Support onboarding and training of new department staff.
• Monitor inventory, pricing, and display standards.
• Meet department sales, profit, and customer experience goals.
• Ensure shift coverage and proper staffing.
