Job summary

ShopRite of East Windsor is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct all bakery operations and lead associates to meet sales, profit and customer experience goals. The role requires enforcing safety, cleanliness and efficiency while maintaining product quality and staff development.

Location is East Windsor, NJ; compensation is hourly. The department focuses on serving customers with friendly service, presenting products well, and operating under company policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak English and perform basic math.
• Ability to stand for shifts and lift up to 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with customers and associates in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to adhere to safety policies and department procedures.
• Ability to engage and lead bakery Associates to department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions of the Bakery Department and its associates.
• Ensure safety, friendliness, presentation and efficiency in daily operations.
• Assist with onboarding, training and performance feedback for staff.
• Maintain product displays, pricing, stock and quality control.
• Complete required department training and maintain attendance.
