Job summary

ShopRite of Hadley Commons in South Plainfield, NJ is seeking a Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Department, supervise associates, and drive sales, customer experience, and engagement in alignment with our service priorities.

You will direct daily Bakery operations, maintain food-safety standards, coach staff, and ensure proper merchandising, pricing, and quality across all items in the department.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret English.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department operations to meet sales and customer experience goals.
• Maintain safety, sanitation, and food handling standards.
• Coach and develop associates to improve performance and engagement.
• Ensure product appears well-stocked, labeled, and rotated.
