Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of retail grocery experience.
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle weights and stand for long periods.
• Food handling safety knowledge and permit.
• Understanding of inventory, budgeting, and merchandising.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily output of baking, production, and display of bakery products.
• Supervise product quality, monitor inventory, and manage the bakery budget.
• Evaluate operations to identify improvements and implement new practices.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, and Weights & Measures compliance.
• Handle ordering, receiving, unloading, and storage processes.
• Rotate merchandise and build attractive displays.
• Control department inventory, pricing integrity, and labor costs.
• Plan and order to maximize sales and gross profit.
• Coach and develop team members; conduct performance reviews.
• Attend store meetings and participate in key decisions.
• Recruit, hire, and promote in collaboration with the Store Manager.
