Job summary

Nothing Bundt Cakes in Tulsa is seeking a Bakery Manager/Lead Operator to direct the guest experience, cake production, and daily bakery operations. You will lead the team, ensure brand standards, and drive sales and profitability in a fast-paced retail bakery environment.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, training and coaching, inventory control, and adherence to food safety guidelines to deliver warm, high-quality cakes and exceptional guest service to the community.

Qualifications

• Has 1-3 years of leadership experience managing teams, business operations and the guest experience in retail, hospitality or food service.
• Demonstrates success in hiring and developing teams and achieving financial objectives.
• Foodservice safety training is required or to be obtained within 30 days of employment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead bakery operations including opening/closing, cash handling and deposits.
• Manage special-order fulfillment via web and email for guests and corporate accounts.
• Set weekly sales productivity goals, production plan, and team schedule; adjust coverage as needed.
• Maintain inventory par levels, monitor stock, and process weekly orders.
• Ensure product quality, service standards, food safety, and brand policies are followed.
• Control expenses including labor, COGS, maintenance, and supplies to maximize profitability.
• Perform payroll, reporting, and basic accounting tasks.
