ShopRite of Wayne Hills Mall in Wayne, NJ is seeking a Bakery Manager to direct all functions of the Bakery Department and lead Associates toward sales, profitability, and outstanding Customer Experience.

You will oversee safety, food handling, training, scheduling, and day-to-day operations while ensuring compliance with QA standards, company policies, and local regulations. Strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Able to perform basic math.
• Able to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Able to perform basic computer functions.
• Able to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 60 lbs.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise Bakery Department and Associates to meet department goals.
• Ensure safety, food handling, and QA compliance.
• Lead onboarding, training, and performance feedback for staff.
• Maintain product displays, labeling, and stocking.
• Manage scheduling and labor to meet sales and service needs.
• Maintain temperature logs and production records.
