New Seasons Market is seeking a Bakery Assistant Manager II in the Oregon/SW Washington region. The role partners with the Bakery Manager to lead daily bakery operations, oversee production and customer service, and ensure department standards and safety compliance.

The position requires supervisory experience, strong merchandising skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer experiences in a retail grocer setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service or retail preferred.
• Previous supervisory or lead role preferred.
• Knowledge of bakery or food handling is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee bakery department operations in collaboration with Bakery Manager.
• Maintain department standards for cleanliness, merchandising, and safety.
• Ensure in-stock conditions and accurate product rotation.
• Manage production, slicing, labeling, and packaging of bakery items.
• Coordinate with vendors and coordinate special orders as needed.
• Lead, train, and coach staff to deliver quality customer service.
