Sprouts Farmers Market in Silverdale, WA is seeking an Assistant Bakery Manager to lead the Bakery Clerks and assist the Bakery Manager in daily department operations. You will focus on delivering great customer service, maintaining product quality, and driving department profitability.

You’ll manage scheduling, merchandising, and inventory control, supervise the bakery team, monitor equipment and safety guidelines, and support a fast-paced, customer‑oriented store environment focused on healthy

Qualifications

• Minimum 18 years old with 2 years retail grocery experience and 2 years supervisory experience.
• Able to work flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing, friendly demeanor with strong customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; able to take and give direction.
• Ability to weigh and label products; operate knives and scales safely.
• Stand for long periods and handle physical requirements; maintain sanitation.
• Adhere to health, safety, and Weights & Measures regulations and obtain Food Handlers permit.

Responsibilities

• Assist Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Supervise Bakery Clerks, oversee ordering, inventory, quality, and displays.
• Rotate merchandise, build displays, and monitor incoming cases for damage.
• Ensure excellent customer service and maintain bakery product quality.
• Unload/store deliveries, operate bakery/deli equipment, and maintain sanitation.
• Enforce safety guidelines and train team on procedures.
