Qualifikationen

• Be at least 18 years of age with a minimum of two years' retail grocery experience and two years supervisory experience.
• Be dependable and reliable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with positive attitude and customer interaction skills.
• Good communication skills and ability to take direction in a team environment.
• Ability to answer phones and take special orders.
• General housekeeping in department; clean and sanitize work area including tables, floors, cases, cooler, freezer, etc.
• Ability to operate knives, scales, wrappers, compactors, garbage disposals, pallet jacks, and hand trucks; weigh and label products accurately.
• Stand for up to 3 hours continuously; handle weight requirements up to 40 lbs in various positions.
• Adhere to safety, health and Weights and Measures regulations and maintain a Food Handlers permit.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Bakery Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Responsible for ordering and inventory controls, product quality, and supervision of the Bakery team.
• Execute rotation of merchandise and building of displays.
• Monitor incoming cases for damaged items.
• Ensure delivery of excellent customer service and monitor bakery product quality.
• Unload and sort store deliveries; operate and maintain deli equipment.
• Ensure compliance with company health, safety and sanitation guidelines.
