Hy-Vee is seeking a motivated Baker to join the Bakery Department. You will prepare, bake, fry, and fulfill orders, ensuring fresh products and timely delivery to customers.

Strong leadership and clear communication are essential to guide bakery clerks and maintain quality during busy shifts. Ideal candidates have a High school diploma or equivalent and experience handling bakery duties; training is available.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Department training is helpful.
• 6 months to 1 year of similar or related experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers with a smile and assist them throughout the store.
• Set up production schedule and prioritize orders.
• Prepare, bake, fry, and process department products, proofing items as necessary.
• Ensure freshness, review product dates, and manage inventory for future days.
• Lead bakery clerks and supervise during shifts.
• Order supplies and maintain the department schedule as directed.
• Maintain sanitation and safety standards in the bakery.
